Common reasons for Unsaved Work:
1. Lost Internet Connection:
There may be a dropped internet connection for long periods during the student's work. Once the connection is restored, the system will attempt to reestablish connection with the student's account, but if it is unable, that work will not be saved:
2. Extremely long time working in a lesson
Students who take extreme amounts of time to progress through a lesson cause the Learning Blade session to timeout. For example, if a student were to begin a lesson, go to lunch wile leaving the lesson open in the browser, then come back to finish a lesson much later, the site may have terminated the student's session.
Students who need to take a break from working in a lesson should click the lesson's Exit button. The system will save the student's progress and return the student to that page the next time they visit the lesson.
3. Leaving a lesson without clicking on EXIT
Students who exit a lesson part-way without clicking the Exit button may interrupt the work saving procedure. Students should make sure they use the exit button to close a lesson:
4. Multiple Browser Tabs open in Learning Blade
If a student has multiple browser windows open to Learning Blade lessons simultaneously, the system can get confused as to the student's true progress. The solution for this is to make sure the student only has one browser tab open to a Learning Blade lesson at one time.
